Encourage

Just the other day I received a message from a friend that wasn't good. She was given some very bad news about her health. When I got off the phone with her, I was surprised. My heart was so heavy for her. What she must be going through right now and how can I help her is what went through my mind. So I came up with this.

Stay Strong My Friend

My dear friend, 

Friends we promised to be until the bitter end

Today you were told 

some news that is really hard to hold

the pain that ripped through your heart

can be the joy of a new start

weep and fret as you may

but only for today

tomorrow is new

and I'll be there along with you

You may feel scared and alone

but you are not alone as long as you can use a phone

I'm here day and night

never try to be brave as a knight

for The Lord God above

is here to give you that shove

when you need it the most

Send him all your worries and pain

cause there's still many joys to gain

Live, Love and Laugh 

never leave your cup at half

Do not be afraid

for what is to come is much better

than the latter

Give thanks

Count His Blessings to you

and You will find each day much easier to live through

May The Lord God give you strength to push onward
