Many times in our walk with The Lord, we feel like He is not hearing us or that He's angry with us. Some may feel that we aren't good enough so he brings us to places that are not so desirable, out of our comfort zone. We might pull back in our faith or do things to show Him we are angry. Really we should be looking to Him more, seeking His face. We shouldn't question why we are there, instead we should look at what can He do for us to help us through, when we are indeed "Lost in the Wilderness". Many times I have felt lost and hopeless. When I turn my eyes to Him, I begin to see His light. I don't understand it, nor do I try but I trust Him. Not trusting and doubting the Lord is a sin.We often want to live in harmony with a status quo. That could just be what is holding us back from finding our way through the lonely wilderness. Looking up and saying "Please forgive my sins", then reaching out and letting Him lead is the way out. There will be many times when we will be lost in the wilderness of life, it is then that we need to ask less and follow more. Then and only then will we see our way out. To seek Him is to Believe.
Lost in the Wilderness
Purpose and meaning are on my heart
I don't understand what's keeping us apart
Why can't I find you in me and me in you
what do I need to do?
You've brought me here to this desert place
why can't I see your face.
Where are you Lord
time in this place I can't afford
Please Lord tell me why you bring me here
what is it that I fear
The wilderness is a nasty place
why can't I just l live with your grace?
What is it Lord you need to me to see
from this place I want to flee
but don't know where to go
I run to the east and to the west
can't get out even when I try my best
I climb to the north and the south
but only cries come from my mouth

What Lord was wrong with where I was
tell me Lord what is your cause
I don't want to face what's in my heart
too much is there to cause me pain
leave it there don't want to live it again

This poetry is not only Praise to God but it is also a testimony of His work in my life. Even when I haven't paid attention, He was there through it all. God Loves Me even though I am not perfect and that's enough for me.
